I am a licensed clinical psychologist who treats children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of concerns including:
- Relationship issues
- Blended families
- Family discord
- GLBT issues
- Attention deficit disorders
- School-related difficulties (academic and behavioral)
- Developmental issues related to adolescence
- Adjustment difficulties
- Behavioral issues related to children and parenting
In addition to my current private practice, I am an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University and Miami Dade College. I am also a member of the Board of Directors for the Bobby Resciniti Healing Hearts Foundation in which I provide counseling to parents and families who experience the loss of a child.
I was born and raised in South Florida. I obtained my master’s and doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Prior to my graduate studies, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University.
I have worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, community mental health centers, schools, and crisis stabilization units. I have extensive experience working with clients from various cultural and ethnic backgrounds as well as treating diverse psychiatric disorders.
